The Inhibitory Potential of Botanical Fungicides Against Colletotrichum capsici the Causal Agent of Anthracnose on Chili in-Vitro

Colletotrichum capsici infection in chilies significantly affected the yields. The use of chemical fungicides to control this pathogen has negative effects on health and environment. botanical pesticides is one alternative C. . This study aims determine effect a type plant extract with certain concentration effectively inhibit growth C used completely randomized design (CRD) five levels treatment times replication. treatments were no treatment/negative control, fungicide (contains 70% propineb)/positive papaya leaf (20%), betel (25%), galangal rhizome (30%). Each experimental unit was repeated three times, each repetition using duplo petridishes. results showed that had significant inhibition PDA medium. Botanical (30%) able compared extracts, although it not as effective propinep 70%). inhibitory abilities (70% propineb) 8,34% 19,91%, respectively.
